I saw that there is a crowd in our street and yard!
The honorable Marja' of Shiite, Hazrat Grand Ayatollah
Haj Sayed Mohammad Hosseini Shirazi (r.a.) narrated from Sayed Mahdi, a crystal
shopper, in Karbala:
One of the Sunnite Kurd ladies who come to Karbala during Nowruz, came to me,
and bought some goods from my shop, and said: I do not know anyone in this city.
Can I stay at your home tonight? I said: There is no problem.
At home, she had told my wife it is ten years that I have married, but could not
have a child yet. My wife told her: Resort to Hazrat Abalfazl Abbas (a.s.) and
vow to present whatever gold you have in your hand and neck to Abalfazl Abbas
(a.s.) if you become pregnant till the next Nowruz.
The next year during Nowruz, I was very busy. At 2 p.m. I went home. I saw that
there is a crowd in our street and yard. I became very worried, and could hardly
enter home, and called my wife: What is this situation and who has allowed them
to enter home?
She smiled and said: No problem. Come in. I asked: What is the case? She said:
The Kurd lady who came here last year, has come with her child to present her
gold to Hazrat Abalfazl Abbas (a.s.). These are all the sterile women who have
come to resort to Hazrat Abalfazl Abbas (a.s.), and vow to present their gold to
him.
