Take me to Ma'tam Abbas of Shiite!
Hojjatoleslam Valmoslemin, the supporter and propagator of doctrine of Ahelbeit (a.s.), Sheikh Saeid Saeidi narrated three wonders from Oman through a letter to the publications office of Maktabel Hossein (a.s.),:
On 1997 corresponding to 1418 (A.H.), I, Saeid Saeidi, succeeded to travel to Oman for accomplishment of my missionary duty. I resided in a village, called "Khaboureh" about 170km far from Muscat, the capital of Oman. It is remarkable that although, in general Shiite in there, and in particular, that city, were in minority, but they were free, and hold mourning ceremonies in the best way, and there was no limitation and restriction for them.
In Khaboureh, the Shiite brothers have a Hosseinyeh, called "Ma'tamol Abbas (a.s.)", where mourning ceremonies for master of the oppressed are continuously and uninterruptedly hold during the two months of Moharram and Safar as well as the blessed month of Ramadan and such like since a long time ago.
It is noteworthy that on the current year, after several years, three wonders have appeared in this Ma'tam attributed to Qamar Bani Hashem (a.s.), each of which was significant. After occurrence of these three undeniable wonders, Shiite came in groups from the cities and adjacent villages to observe one of these three wonders, because at the time of occurrence of one of them, the camera system located inside Ma'tam every night to transmit the image to the women's part, immediately focuses on the miracle, and takes film from all scenes of the miracle, and the Shiite enjoyed watching the film of miracle and wonder. Here, I will explain one of them:
A lady having several children and husband and all of her relatives were Sunnite. The lady was afflicted by paralysis. Her husband had spent too much money for her treatment, and being in despair for her remedy, he took her with her children to her father's house, because he had decided to divorce her, and marry with another lady. The depressed lady says to her sisters: Tomorrow is seventh of Moharram, and the day of Abalfazl Abbas (a.s.) with Shiite. Please take me to Ma'tam Abbas of Shiite, and tie me to the flag of Hazrat Abalfazl Abbas (a.s.) haply he cares of me.
Tomorrow, her sisters took their lame sister to Ma'tam, and in the women's part, beside flag of Abbas (a.s.) in the morning. It was a customary in Khaboureh to hold two gatherings per day from first to twelfth night of Moharram: one in the morning and the other at night. From twelfth night to the end of Safar too, the gathering was made only at nights, with exception of demise days, like 25 Moharram, and 7, 17,20 & 28 of Safar, when in addition to the night gathering, there was also a gathering in the morning.
When the ceremonies starts, a lady responsible for the women's part goes to the lame lady and says: Stand up, and do mourning ceremonies together with other ladies! The lame lady says: You know that I am lame and can not stand. She says: Say, Ya Abalfazl Abbas, and stand up. The sick lady too says loudly Ya Abalfazl, and suddenly stands. Surprisingly, the lady touches her feet, and thanks to God, she feels no trace of previous paralysis in herself. Then, she starts mourning, and the men too are informed by the women's noises.
It is remarkable that the lady not only did not leave Ma'tam from seventh of Moharram to end of Safar, rather, served when attending in the gathering. His wife too who had become glad for her healing, returned her to home, and they continued their life happily.
Moreover, the lady's brother was one of Wahhabite, who not only do not believe in mourning ceremonies, but also call it as invention and fetish! And deem it obligatory and necessary for themselves to challenge with them for elimination. However, her Wahhabite brother too submitted to this undeniable wonder of Qamar Bani Hashem (a.s.).
